Tracing its origins to 1608, Yushengtang has evolved from a humble pharmacy in Yushe County, Shanxi, to a modern health industry group guided by its enduring motto: “Understand the true nature of herbs, master the art of processing, and cultivate a heart of virtue.” Headquartered in Beijing, the group has strategically expanded into two renowned “Hometowns of Chinese Medicine”—Anguo in Hebei and Bozhou in Anhui. The three factories, each with distinct specializations, form an integrated production system covering classical TCM to modern health products.

Located in Fangshan District’s Liangxiang Industrial Development Zone, the Beijing Factory serves as the group’s R&D and production hub. Spanning over 33,000 square meters, it houses both Beijing Yushengtang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and the core health food production facility. Holding a Drug Manufacturing License, its GMP-certified workshops produce tablets, hard capsules, granules, prepared slices of Chinese crude drugs (Yinpian), and extracts. The factory specializes in core products like Changqing Tea and Weight Loss Tea. Additionally, it hosts the group’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, designated as a National Base for Popularizing TCM Culture, integrating intelligent manufacturing, research, and heritage preservation.
Anguo Factory: Rooted in the “Hometown of Medicine”
Established in July 2020, **Beijing Yushengtang Health Industry Group Hebei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.** operates in the Anguo Modern Chinese Medicine Industrial Park, covering 7,600 square meters. Leveraging Anguo’s position as China’s largest crude drug distribution center, the factory produces Chinese patent medicines, health foods, solid beverages, cosmetics, and external bath products. Its substantial annual capacity includes 500 million health food hard capsules, 300 million tablets, 80 million sachets of granules, 50 million sachets of solid beverages, and 300 million pressed candies. Certified by the Hebei Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, it serves as the vital support for large-scale production and quality control at the source.
Bozhou Factory: Strategic National Expansion
As a strategic investment by Beijing Yushengtang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Yushengtang Pharmaceutical (Bozhou) Co., Ltd. deepens the group’s presence in another key “Medicine Hometown.” This layout enables deeper integration into the central region’s medicinal materials market and pharmaceutical distribution network, complementing Beijing’s R&D management and Anguo’s manufacturing capabilities to streamline the entire industrial chain from raw material procurement to finished product distribution.
From Beijing’s cultural and scientific hub, to Anguo’s large-scale manufacturing base, and Bozhou’s strategic extension, the three factories operate synergistically. This integrated layouts historical heritage, harnesses modern technology, and demonstrates industrial foresight, ensuring consistent quality from source to consumer and propelling the 400-year-old brand steadily forward in the modern TCM industry.
